Language

The European Comission has just announced an agreement whereby English will br the offical language of the European nation rather than German which had been the other possibility.
That is the good news.
However, HM Government has conceeded that english spelling should change to make it easier to be adopted by Europeans, and a 5 yr plan is in place to phase in "Euro English".

In the 1st yr "s" will replace the soft "c". Sertainly this will take some time for sivil servants to get used to. But dropping the hard "c" in favor o "k" should klear up some konfusion.

There is expected to be growing publik enthusiasm in the sekond year when the troublesome "ph" will be replased with the "f". Thos will make words such as fotograf 20% shorter.

In the 3rd year publik akseptanse of the new spellin kan be expekted to reach the stage where more komplikated changes are possible.
Removal of double letters which habe always ben a deterent to akurate speling is also planed, Also the horibl mes of the silent "e" in the languag wil be sorted.

By the 4th yer peopl wil be reseptiv tp steps such as replasing "th" with "z" and "w" with "v".

During ze fifz yer, ze unesesary "o"kan be dropd from vords kontaining "ou" and after ziz fifz yer, ve vil hav a reil sensibl riten styl.

Zer vil be no mor trubl or diikultis and evrivun vil finf it ezi tu understand ech oza. Ze drem of a united urop vil finali kum tru.
