Hmmm me thinks I might have a problem with NaNoWriMo.
Am 6000 words into new NCIS fic. It has taken a month. Me thinks writing 10 times faster is not going to be easy. Plus I don't really want to leave my fic for a month not when it's behaving itself.

Mmm its not easy. Trust me. My new novel has been sitting at 30k words for over a month now. Argh. It's hard to find the time to write that much. And then you have to leave time for rewrites and editing :(
It's a lot of writing. eep. Still, if you sit there and get into it its very doable to do it in a month, as long as you devote plenty of time to it and have a plot outline before hand.

At least wth NaNo you don't have to worry about editing and rewrites. It's just a 30 dash to write 50K words that don't have to be structured or even coherent, it's just to try and help you get used to working within deadlines.
I'm just not sure I'll have time to do it. Been working at the fic most of my free time last month.
And plans? Not a chance the only 2 things I have ever written story plans for are my 1st piece of fanfic (stalled and unfinished for more than a year) and my novel stalled and unfinished (at only 7000 wordsfor the bulk of a year) plans and me just don't get on :P
